Invitation and Login Issues
Recover from verification-code, password, two-factor, invitation-email, and organization-selection problems.
The Verification Code Did Not Arrive
GeoQR sends a six-digit code rather than a clickable verification link.
- Confirm the email address shown on the verification page.
- Check spam or junk folders.
- Wait briefly for delivery.
- Select Resend verification code.
Codes expire after five minutes. Resending provides the code you should use. If the email address is wrong, select Change email and sign up with the correct address.
The Code Is Invalid or Expired
Check all six digits and use the newest usable code. After too many failed attempts or an expiry, select Resend verification code before trying again.
Signing in again does not automatically send another code. Use Resend verification code on the verification page.
Password Sign-In Fails
- Confirm the email address and password.
- Use Forgot password when you no longer know the password.
- Complete email verification if GeoQR redirects you there.
- Complete 2FA if password verification succeeds but a challenge appears.
Two-Factor Sign-In Fails
Use the latest six-digit authenticator code or switch to one unused backup code. Each backup code works once.
If the challenge expired, return to login and start again. Trust this device for 30 days applies only after a successful challenge.
The Invitation Email Does Not Match
The signed-in account must use the invitation's email address. Sign out and use the matching account, or create a new account with that exact email.
After authentication, return to the invitation preview and explicitly accept it. Creating an account does not accept the invitation automatically.
The Invitation Is Expired or Missing
Ask an organization owner or admin to check pending invitations and send a new one. Canceled, declined, accepted, or expired invitations cannot be reused.
I Entered the Wrong Organization
Open the account menu, find Organization, and select the correct workspace. If no organization is active, GeoQR returns you to organization selection.
I Was Not Returned to the Page I Opened
GeoQR normally returns you to the page you opened before signing in. If it cannot do that safely, it opens your dashboard or asks you to choose an organization instead.
